Let’s Go Blue!
Before every game, the Lake Oswego High School Men’s Lacrosse team breaks out of it's team huddle with the chant "Let's Go Blue" to bring the players together as a team and go on the field and play one of the most competitive team sports around.
Lacrosse has grown in popularity over the past few years, earning the title as the fastest growing sport. Speed, agility and field IQ are skills required to excel on the lacrosse field. Anyone can play lacrosse! The game of lacrosse is a combination of many sports: field hockey, soccer, rugby, football, basketball and ice hockey which makes it a great companion sport keeping players in physical shape and help improve their overall athleticism.
Team leadership and hard work are crucial to success and are just as important as stacking up wins. The LOHS Men's lacrosse club places value on being leaders on and off the field. As student leaders, it is expected that all players work as a team and are good humans. Whether on the field by always displaying sportsmanship or off the field by participating in the local community through service events, each player has their own strengths and is expected to use those strengths to lead the team to success each season.
The upcoming season will be as competitive as ever! The club has its eye on returning to the State Playoffs and will continue to be a team with great passion, pride and purpose!
