HEAD COACH: MIKE MARCOTT
Coach Marcott enters his 3rd season with Lake Oswego, assuming the position of Head Coach, after spending one year as an assistant coach and one year as Associate Head Coach. He will continue to assist on both the offense and defense sides of the ball in 2019. Coach Marcott comes to Lake Oswego after spending time as the Offensive Coordinator at the University of Oregon, where he helped guide the Ducks to a conference championship and a trip national championship tournament. He also served as Manager for 3d Lacrosse's Oregon market, the nation's largest lacrosse training and events company.
Coach Marcott graduated from Lincoln High School (Portland) in 2012 where he was a 3-time state champion and 2-time US Lacrosse All-American. He went on to play at the University of Denver where he won the 2015 NCAA National Championship. He spent his last year playing at the University of Oregon, where served as a team captain and was an MCLA All-American.
He currently lives and works in Portland. While not working or coaching, you can find him at the dog park with his dog, Kane, and spending time with family and friends.

VARSITY OFFENSIVE COORDINATOR: CHASE CLAUSEN
Coach Clausen enters his 5th season as the offensive coordinator for Lake Oswego. He has also spent the last two summers coaching the off-season Northshore lacrosse program. Prior to his time at Lake Oswego, he coached 3 years for local off-season club program, Rhino Lacrosse.
Coach Clausen graduated from Lake Oswego High School in 2009 and garnered 2nd team all-state honors as a senior. He attended NCAA DIII Guilford College in North Carolina, where played midfield for the first three years. During his senior season, he was nominated as a team captain and finished out his career as an attackman for the Quakers.
He currently resides in Southeast Portland with his fiancé Claudia. They plan on getting married in August.

VARSITY DEFENSIVE COORDINATOR: JOSH BERTOLI
Coach Bertoli enters his 1st season with Lake Oswego as the Vasrsity Defensive Coordinator. He will focus on the defensive side of the ball in 2019 for both the Varsity and Junior Varsity teams. Coach Bertoli joins the Lake Oswego coaching ranks after working with Xcelerate Lacrosse and Rhino Lacrosse. Before working with them, he coached two seasons at his old high school, Cardinal Newman High School, in California. In his time with Cardinal Newman, he worked as both defensive coordinator and offensive coordinator over his two years with the team.
Coach Bertoli graduated from Cardinal Newman High School in 2010. He went on to play at Oregon State University, where he won the PNCLL Conference Championship 3 out of his 4 years there.
He currently lives in Tigard and works at Nike when he’s not spending time on the field.

HEAD STRENGTH COACH: RYAN SHEPHERD
Coach Shepherd is in his 8th year at Lake Oswego and entering his first season as the strength and conditioning coach with the lacrosse program. He began working with the school’s athletic teams in 2011, when Laker football brought him aboard. Since then he has worked with many of the school’s programs, such as boy’s and girl’s basketball, baseball, softball, girl’s lacrosse, volleyball, cheerleading, and girl’s soccer. He also helps and assists in weight training classes during school, working with many of the athletes and students to achieve their fitness goals. Last February, he and his good friend/laker alum Kevin Love headed a full remodel of the weight room, giving the school and its athletes every tool to be successful in their offseason training.
Coach Shepherd graduated from Lake Oswego in 2007 and played a year of college football at West Valley. In 2010, he decided to begin a career in fitness and joined a program called NPTI. He spends much of his time researching, studying, and spending time alongside athletic professional trainers to gain knowledge and implement programs for each specific sport. Every sport is different and needs to be trained accordingly.
He currently lives in Lake Oswego. When he’s not busy training, you will find him at events of students and teams he works with or at the gym working out.
